Communicating with Plants:

Deciphering and Exploiting Chemical Signals through Electronics

NC State University’s “Stewards of the Future” Symposium, titled “Plants and Sensors,” will be held 2-3 December 2018 at the newly opened StateView Hotel on NC State University’s Centennial Campus in Raleigh, NC, USA. The event will bring together plant scientists and engineers to discuss how plants communicate with their environment and to develop new ideas on how to exploit sensors and electronics to enhance crop production.

The “Stewards of the Future” series was created by NC State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) to showcase college innovation and research on the pressing issues of our time, as well as to connect stakeholders with our scientists to help solve global grand challenges.
